Training I: Choice Modelling for Environmental Valuation
Training on Choice Modelling for Environmental Valuation
Saturday-Sunday, July 15 – 16, 2017
Choice modeling (CM), pioneered by McFadden (1974), is a powerful analytic method used to estimate the probability of individuals making a particular choice from presented alternatives. Choice modeling is also called conjoint modeling, discrete choice analysis, and conditional logistic regression. CM has been widely-used in many areas including marketing as well as the valuation of environmental services.
Economy & Environment Institute (EEI) INDONESIA in collaboration with Indonesian Regional Science Association (IRSA) is organizing a training on Choice Modeling as part of the 2017 IRSA conference in Menado, Indonesia. The instructors for the training are EEI-INDONESIA’s associates with experience in Choice Modeling research (Dr. Mia Amalia, Dr. Martin Siyaranamual, Dr. Alin Halimatusaidah).
